Dove Meadows is mainly a flat, grassy site, 2-3 minutes away from a safe, sandy beach. The site has 35 pitches, and limited electric hook-ups. The use of generators is only permitted at set times for the re-charging of batteries, but there are battery charging facilities available. The site has two toilets, one with a coin operated shower, (50p coins) but it is advisable to have your own sanitation in case of heavy demand. There is no designated children's play area, but a well equipped playground is only a short walk away.

Bookings are taken on a weekly basis only, in order to use the site to its full potential. Pitches are available from 12 noon on arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure. Abolutely NO arrivals before the given times, as this could lead to congestion in the approach road. If this occurs at any time, it could result in the Local Council refusing permission for the site in the future, so please respect this request. There are parking facilities along the Sea Front for you to wait until the stipulated times.

Please complete the booking form and return it as soon as possible to secure your site, with either full payment or a non-refundable deposit of £10 to the Dove Meadows Booking Officer, enclosing a large SAE . (See our News Page for availability.) If we do not receive your SAE we cannot confirm you have a pitch. No pitches can be allocated until your form and £10 non-returnable deposit have been received. Payment must be made in full by 23rd June 2008, otherwise your pitch will be re-allocated. A separate booking form is needed for each pitch required. Just print as many as you need! The fees are based on 2 adults, and 2 children under 18 years old. Extra adults cost £1.50 per night per person, and extra children cost £1 per child per night. Electric hookup is £3 per night. The change-over days are Sundays, in order to help you avoid excessive traffic and long delays which can often occur on Saturdays when entering Cornwall in the peak holiday period. The fees are as follows:

Temporary Holiday Sites (THS's) are for use by the units of Full Members only. However, temporary membership status can be granted to friends or relatives of Full Members, on payment of £3.50 per person, on arrival at the site. This entitles the Temporary Member to camp with and in the Full Members unit, and is valid for the THS of issue only. A further charge of £1.50 per person per night is made for all Temporary Members during their stay at the THS.

Any adult non-member (18 years or over) wishing to camp on their own in a separate unit (including pup tents) will be required to pay Full Club Membership plus the normal weekly site fee, payable to the steward on arrival and booked in advance.

We would like to draw your attention to the Caravan and Camping Club Rule concerning dogs and pets on site, which will apply to this THS. (Page 26, section 12.)

Your membership card must be produced on arrival, so please remember to bring it with you!
